Nothing screams sexy like extreme sports.  The University of Toronto Rock Climbing Club meets every week and is a great way to socialize while strengthening your muscles. A round of climbing is inexpensive and, as the cliché goes, beginners are always welcome. Plus, belaying (holding the rope so your loved one doesn’t fall) is just the solution to forming that close, trusting relationship you’ve been looking for. Trust me, it’ll rock.

Swimming. Gym. Zumba? That’s right you guessed it, good old Hart House! It’s free for students, so why not try sweating it up here?  Remember, nothing relieves heartache better than a gruelling workout, and the greatest revenge will be looking awesome! Once you think you’re buff enough, you might even find yourself joining an intramural or trying out for a varsity team. Maybe true love does come straight from the Hart.

Another option is an invigorating romp through Mother Nature herself.  Get your heart racing with the U of T Ski and Snowboard Club, or escape for a couple of days, unbathed and free from technological distractions, with the Outing Club; activities include skiing, caving, climbing, and hiking. Explore the great outdoors with that special someone while gazing upon some natural beauty. I hear the scenery isn’t too bad either.

Every couple fights occasionally, so why not start doing so more athletically? Release your supressed rage with campus clubs including the U of T Kendo Club, Shaolin Kung-Fu Association, and the Victoria College Fencing Club. Kick some beloved booty and get ready for your next lover’s quarrel! At last, a way to show your love in a way that words can’t possibly express — as long as nobody gets hurt or stabbed of course.
