Alberta Conservatives are under the gun for in this election so their buddies at Ottawa instituted a new immigration plan tailed directly for this 20,000 people. If a company invites them to work, Canada will grant them an immediate citizenship!  This will allow this 20,000 Americans to vote in the provincial election giving extra votes for the Conservatives. The Governments both say the people they have imported are with at most Grade 12 education and not being properly vetted may have criminal records that would prevent them from working in Canada if they had to be vetted.
