On Friday, September 11, pop singer Shawn Desman will perform at UTSU Fest — the student’s union’s annual frosh concert.
Desman was born in Toronto, and known for hits such as “Electric/Night Like This” and “Shook.” He became successful in the early ‘00s, and his most recent album, Alive, was released in 2013. His music dates back to the time of MuchMusic when TV music videos were a good means for music promotion, and when tracksuits were an essential part of a pop-star’s wardrobe.
This Friday, come to Front Campus to watch one of Toronto’s very own pop icons.
