This weekend, a campus-wide alert was issued informing community members of an “unknown male exposing himself” in the area surrounding Laidlaw Library at University College.
According to the alert, two separate incidents were reported to campus police in the 48 hours prior the alert’s release on September 23.
The suspect is a white male with black facial hair, approximately 30–40 years of age and standing at around five-foot-seven. The suspected flasher was last seen wearing “an over-sized blue hoodie or jacket with the hood tightly wrapped around his face in an effort to conceal his identity.”
The alert did not make mention of any leads on the suspicious person’s identity.
According to the 2016 Campus Police Annual Report, 76 reports of suspicious persons were received, in addition to 134 “suspicious circumstances” and 11 reported sexual assaults.
Campus Police have asked that anybody with information regarding the suspicious person contact them at 416-978-2222. The Campus Police office is located on the first floor of 21 Sussex Avenue.
