Ryerson refuses to dispense more Dose than necessary

Ryerson University has refused to let Dose magazine put more boxes on their campus. Dose, which targets youth of about university age and older, started publishing last spring. An article in Ryerson’s Eyeopener said that Dose was turned down to protect student papers from Canwest-owned paper’s competition.

Noah Godfrey, Dose’s publisher, admits in the article that they sometimes read student publications “to see what students want.”

Dose is available on U of T’s campus. -A.M.
