Abdul-Fatah Dau is a fourth-year student at Woodsworth College studying Statistical Sciences and Political Science.
Dau chose to run for Vice-President Campus Life because, as an international student, he felt there was little support for him when initially arriving at U of T. Getting involved with clubs helped him feel as though he was part of the community.
Dau hopes that he can support campus clubs by “supplying them with the material [and] resources that they need” instead of “controlling” them. Dau also wants to reform UTSU’s current clubs funding system to inform clubs earlier about whether they will be funded and how much they will receive.
