Police received a call around noon on June 12 that a cyclist was struck by a truck at the intersection of St. George Street and Bloor Street West. Emergency responders arrived in the area and found her without vital signs.
She was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver and vehicle in question remain in the area. Investigators have closed off Bloor from Huron Street to Devonshire Place, and St. George from Prince George Avenue to Sussex Avenue, pending further inspection.
