At 2:42 pm on December 22, Julie Berman, 51, was found with severe injuries at Harbord Street and Brunswick Avenue. She was taken to the hospital where she died, according to Toronto Police Services (TPS).
Toronto Police has charged Colin Harnack, 29, with second-degree murder.

CBC News reported Sunday that the incident took place inside of a boarding house. According to a tenant who heard the alleged incident in his neighbour’s room, the neighbour alerted him to the incident and he saw the victim, at which point he advised his neighbour to call the police immediately.
