Varsity Publications Inc.’s Bylaws state:
70. The directors shall place before the members at every fall meeting of members the report of the public accountant and financial statements that shall include at least
a. a statement of financial position,
b. a statement of changes in net assets,
c. a statement of operations, and
d. a statement of cash flows.
71. The financial statements to be placed before the members at every fall meeting shall relate separately to
a. the period that began immediately after the end of the last completed financial year and ended not more than six months before the spring meeting, and
b. the immediately preceding financial year.
72. The financial statements to be placed before the members at every fall meeting shall be sent no later than 21 days after the meeting is held to
a. the Director of Corporations,
b. the Office of the Governing Council, and
c. the Office of the Vice-President and Provost.
73. The financial statements to be placed before the members at every fall meeting shall be approved by the directors evidenced by the signature of a majority of the directors.
