On Monday, with less than two week before U of T’s student delegates head to Copenhagen for the climate change negotiations, a group of campus environmentalists descended on Sid Smith for a surprise “strip mob.” In a press release sent to The Varsity, the group said their intent was “to raise awareness on the University of Toronto campus and show support to the many actions being organized by citizens across the country—in particular, the peaceful occupation of Minister Jim Prentice’s office in Calgary.” Video by ecosanity.org
