On September 28, University of Toronto Campus Police announced they had arrested a male who had been exposing himself in the area surrounding Laidlaw Library at University College (UC). Campus Police had issued a community alert about the suspect on September 23.

According to U of T Director of Media Relations Althea Blackburn-Evans, plain-clothed Campus Police officers had been stationed in the area of Laidlaw Library since September 22. The suspect was arrested in the UC Quad.

The suspect has been charged with indecent exposure, but further charges may be laid as an investigation led by Toronto Police Services continues.

Blackburn-Evans said that the suspect has no affiliation with the University of Toronto.
