Concussions: Science, Policy, and Sport

The Royal Canadian Institute for the Advancement of Science will be holding a panel discussion on the topic of head trauma in athletics, and research on how to prevent such injuries from becoming commonplace. Speakers include Dr. Doug Richards, the medical director of U of T’s David L. MacIntosh Sport Medicine Clinic, and Sandro Fiorino, assistant coach for the Canadian Women’s National Rugby Sevens team.
