This issue of the Varsity is particularly special, as it falls on Remembrance Day. The young gentlemen on the cover were U of T students who died in either World War I or II. They are just four members of the 613 members of the U of T family who died in World War I, the 557 who died in World War II, and the one who died in Korea. On the left side of their photos, you will find their yearbook messages from a happier time. On the right, their final legacy, appearing in the U of T Memorial books, compiled by H.E. Brown. Special thanks to Kathy Parks of the Soldier’s Tower Committee for her help.
